It's SHOW WEEK for SAP's The Best of Carol Burnett Sketches

It's SHOW WEEK!!! The Saline Area Players present The Best of Carol Burnett Sketches. Performances will be at 8:00 pm on November 3, 4 & 5 and 3 PM on November 5 & 6, at Fifth Corner, 211 Willis Rd, Saline, MI, 48176.

Doors will open 30 minutes before each performance for general admission seating and for sampling of local food and beverages. Full show and ticket information is at www.salineareaplayers.org. Venue is not handicap accessible.

The show is directed by Tami Hindes. Cast includes Ted Covey, Wendy Fritz, Sara Honsowetz, Nancy Klein, Kyle Newmeyer, Brian Trippel, Patti Ringe, Gilbert Warila and Joyce Williams. Cast members play multiple roles.

Take yourself back to an earlier era of television, to the fun and frivolity of the good old days. A fond memory for many, The Carol Burnett Show, which ran from 1967 until 1978, was one of television’s most successful variety shows of all time. Key to its success were the wonderfully written comedy sketches featuring a whole host of characters, including some which parodied well-known movies or TV shows. Enjoy your favorite characters and even some “commericals.” Recommended for adults/teens.
