Local dance performance - June 9th

Dance company performing in Ann Arbor one night only!

Ann Arbor, MI - Pure Existence Dance Company (PE), a local Ann Arbor-based professional contemporary dance company, will present their annual repertory concert, Re|Generate , on Friday June 9, 7:30pm, at the 2|42 Community Church on South Wagner Road. Tickets are $18 for general admission or $15 for students/seniors. This all-ages-friendly concert will feature the compelling repertory of PE, choreographed by company founder/director Jodie Randolph, along with guest artist Kathy King.
Known for their athleticism, authenticity, and dynamic partnering, the PE dancers hope to inspire their audience with their unique movement style. Re|Generate takes the audience on a journey through raw emotion and familiar stories, using a variety of well-known and original musical selections. Joining PE on stage will be X2, the pre-professional youth company under the mentorship of PE, and guest artists from Ann Arbor Dance Classics.

“We are always looking for ways to connect with our local community to inspire curiosity about dance as an artform. Being able to perform our repertory concert right here in Ann Arbor means so much to all of us!” says PE director, Jodie Randolph.

PE was founded in 2012 by Randolph and has grown to a company of six highly trained, paid professional dance artists, plus a pre-professional youth group that trains with the main company each week. PE presents an experimental dance concert and a repertory concert each season, along with ongoing classes, workshops and outreach programs. PE is a nonprofit 501c3 organization.
