New Classes Offered at Saline High School
The Board of Education was told about the classes at Tuesday's meeting.

Health 2

Continuing on the lessons in Health 1, a prerequisite. This class is aimed a t sophomores and juniors.

Laatsch said too many students are leaving high school without financial literacy and an understanding of the economy.
Introduction to Engineering and Design
This class for freshmen is a continuation of the Project Lead the Way science, technology, engineering and math curriculum taught in the middle school. Laatsch said district will add more of these classes in the high school in the future. The class is aimed at students who are considering engineering as a career choice.
