Police Report: Saline Police Investigate Pharmacy Break-in

Police are investigating a break-in at , located at 75 E. Bennett St.
Police reported to the pharmacy after a motion alarm was triggered.
A security camera showed someone shouldering the door and then crawling through the entrance, according to the report. Moments later, the person crawled back out with a container before running north, according to the report.

Laptop, Video Game Gear Stolen From Apartment

A 29-year old Clark Street man told police that someone broke into his apartment and stole a laptop computer and more than $800 worth of video game equipment, according to police.
The break-ins occurred sometime before Dec. 26, according to a Thorncrest Apartment’s maintenance worker told police that someone pried into three apartments.
Police Investigate Embezzlement
Police are investigating a report that someone embezzled $1,500 from at , 401 E. Michigan Ave. According to a police report, the company said that the restaurant was embezzled by “zeroing out” 50 purchases in the computer.
Watson Street Home Targetted by Vandal
A Watson Drive man reported to police that someone is vandalizing his home. The man, who lives on the 900 block of Watson Drive, said someone threw eggs against his home and a jeep parked in his driveway about 7:30 p.m. Dec. 22. A couple days later, the vandal struck again, according to the report. This time, someone vandalized a vehicle with eggs, processed cheese, sardines and tape. The vehicle was also keyed.
The resident told police that the vandals struck earlier in the year, but that the attacks stopped when his daughter went away for school. With his daughter home for the break, the attacks recommenced.
