Police Report: Truck Stolen in Lodi Township

These reports were taken from the daily Washtenaw Count Sheriff report. They do not imply conviction.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to Lodi Township were called to the 4000 block of South Wagner Road on Sept. 29 for a report of a stolen truck. The victim told investigators that he left his truck and equipment trailer parked overnight at the location. When he returned in the morning, they were gone.

The truck is a black 1985 Chevy pickup truck. The 10-foot box trailer contained tools and painting equipment.

Suspected Drunk Driver Arrested in York

Deputies patrolling York Township arrested a suspected drunk driver at approximately 6:30 p.m., Sept. 29. A deputy was conducting enforcement near Carpenter and Judd roads when the suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. During the encounter, the deputy detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver. Chemical tests administered indicated the driver was above the legal limit of .08 and the driver was arrested and lodged at the Wasthenaw County Jail. The case will be sent to the prosecutor for review.
