Saline Battles Dexter to a 1-1 Draw

The Saline varsity soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with Dexter at Hornet Stadium Tuesday night.

Saline struck first when Luke Collins set up Eric Williams at the 31:50 mark of the first half.

Dexter knotted the game at 1 with a goal on a free kick at 9:23 of the second half.

Saline outshot Dexter, 6-4.

Tyler Jacobs made three saves for Saline.

Saline has played to four straight ties and go on the road for three straight games, starting with an Oct. 4 game at Lincoln.

In the junior varsity game, Saline won 2-1.
