Saline's junior varsity girls basketball team held on to defeat Novi 44-35 Thursday night.

Samantha Bruley led Saline with 12 points. Amelia Wittig added nine points. Alana Hollis added seven.

Novi was led by Nicole Solakian, who scored 10 points.
