Saline Learns Why Huron Is State's Top Ranked Team

The Hornets boys' water polo team was dunked, 18-3.

It didn't take long for Ann Arbor Huron to show Saline why it is ranked as the top water polo team in the state.

Huron scored 1:15 into the game and held a 6-0 lead at the end of the first quarter before swimming past Saline 18-4.

The River Rats were relentless on offense and defense. On many occasions, the River Rats broke up Hornet plays and then delivered long passes to sprinting swimmers who managed to get behind the Saline defense. And on too many occasions, for Saline fans, the River Rats made good on their opportunities. When the Hornets did manage to breakup a River Rat play, it seemed there was always a Huron swimmer there first to get the loose ball.
