VIDEO: Highlights from Cabaret 2012 at SHS

The voices of Saline High School singers rang at the Ellen Ewing Performing Arts Center April 23-25.

The Saline High School Choirs performed at the 2012 Cabaret Concerts April 23-25 in the Ellen A. Ewing Performing Arts Center.

Choirs performing included the Concert Choir, the Chamber Choir, the Chordsmen and the Ten Tones.

The students performed old classics, like Simon and Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair, and modern numbers, such as Adele's Someone Like You.

The Cabaret 2012 proceeds help the Saline High School Choral Music Department fund the accompanist position for the 2012-13 year.

The singers will take the stage again:

• 7 p.m., May 15 — The Songwriter's Workshop and Vocal Recital at Saline High School.

• 7 p.m., May 21 — The Spring Choir Concert featuring the Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, Chordsmen and Ten Tones. The guest conductor is Dr. Julie Skadsem of the University of Michigan.
