Just after temps soared April 10, beckoning sandals and shorts, Mother Nature had a cruel change of heart. Shelby and Utica residents, along with the rest of Metro Detroit, peered out their windows to see a snow-globe spring.
According to the National Weather Service, a couple inches of snow along with overcast skies and temps in the low 30s were making for an unusual mid-April day. Rain and temps in the 40s are expected Tuesday.
