Fast-Casual Salad Chain Opens Along Hall Road In Shelby Township

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — Those in the Shelby Township area have a new fast-casual dining spot.

Sweetgreen, known for its fresh and healthy meals, opened a new spot at 15089 Hall Road in Shelby Township on Tuesday.

The new location will offer fan-favorite salads, including the Harvest Bowl, Crispy Rice Bowl, Caramelized Garlic Steak and Miso Glazed Salmon. It will also feature a new menu with Function Health that will have dishes like the Omega Salad, Spicy Reset Bowl and Steady Energy Bowl.

For every meal purchased on opening day at the new downtown Detroit location, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Forgotten Harvest, which helps to fight food insecurity in the community. Guests can enjoy special treats from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (while supplies last), including candles from @detroitwick and cookies from @cookiesbydesign.
