Laptop, GPS Stolen From Vehicle
A laptop and other items were stolen last Saturday from a vehicle on Robert Street in Shelby Township.
The vehicle’s owner told police that he discovered the theft around 10 p.m. when he noticed the trunk of his Saturn Ion, which was parked on his driveway, was barely open.

The following items were stolen:
- Â A Dell laptop valued at $700
- External hard drive valued at $100
- Tom Tom GPS valued at $150
- Dog toys valued at $50
- Backpack valued at $60
The case was closed due to lack of suspects.

Items Stolen from Greenhouse
An unidentified man is suspected in a rash of thefts at Maeder’s Greenhouse on 23 Mile Road in Shelby Township.
Store owners said items such as flowers, soil and pots have been disappearing from the greenhouse in the past month.
The thefts were reported last Saturday during a police business check. An employee told police that a man had entered the building earlier in the day and had stolen a stool and a hanging plant.
Maeder’s Greenhouse employees said they believe the same man is responsible for the prior thefts.
Employees estimate that items worth about $120 have been stolen since mid-April.
