Ike Grads Raise Money for Charity with Christmas-Themed Jammy Party
Best friends join forces for the holidays to throw annual goofy holiday bash while raising money for charity.
Who else can have a blast while raising money for charity in their sleep? Well, they weren't exactly sleeping, but there were pajamas involved.
graduates Eric Miller and Shane Bliemaster raised $2,000 Friday night for Forgotten Harvest during their at in Shelby Township.
The party had all the fixings of any good party: cheap booze, a good DJ and bad Christmas costumes. Partiers were encouraged to relax and poke a little fun at the stress of the holidays by sporting ugly Christmas sweaters, reindeer antlers and onesie pajamas.

For the second straight year, Bliemaster, who returns home for the holidays from New York, has helped best friend and business partner, Miller, plan the annual party in an effort to catch up with old friends and raise money for a good cause.
"We just decided to throw a holiday party at a bar last year and turned into a fundraiser for local charity," said Bliemaster.
