3. Blackthorn Concert to Benefit Baby Grant
- When: Friday, September 6, 2013, 7:00 PM
- Where:Â 33204 Maple Ln Dr., Sterling Heights, MI
- What: Blackthorn is known far and wide for their fun engaging style of Irish humor and music. If you have never heard Blackthorn, you owe to yourself to come out; if you know Blackthorn, nothing more needs to be said. Grant was born with a very rare syndrome called CHAOS: Congenital High Airway Obstruction Syndrome. Most babies don’t make it. But, not Grant! He's here going strong. In addition, there is complete blockage in his throat which doesn't allow him to breathe naturally. Grant also did not have vocal cords. This summer he underwent seven surgeries: a real financial hardship. Join his family and friends as we try to ease the burden on his family. Come out for a fun filled evening of song and mirth to help a great little guy! $30 per person.Â
