Police: Man Hid Pill Bottle with Heroin in Unusual Spot
The following information was supplied by the Utica Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

said they found a packet of heroin stuffed in a pill bottle inside of a 28-year-old man’s rear end Tuesday after he and his girlfriend were accused of stealing clothing from Dunham’s Sporting Goods on Hall Road.
Utica officer Gregory Morabito approached Joseph Agby, of Sterling Heights, and a woman, 22, of Warren, Tuesday outside of Petsmart after the couple was acting suspicious, according to a police report.
The officer was given consent by the woman to search her purse and found three hypodermic needles and six articles of stolen clothing, according to police.

Police said Agby told the officer that the woman had stolen the articles of clothing, and she responded by saying that he stole the shirt she was wearing and had heroin hidden on his body.
Both were arrested and taken to the Utica Police Department. At the station, when officers asked the man if he had heroin on him he denied it and said he would undress to prove it, according to the report. Once undressed, officers asked him to bend over — and that’s when officers discovered a pill bottle, police said.

The bottle contained a package of heroin, wrapped up in a lottery ticket, the police report said, noting that was a common means of packaging heroin.
Agby was arraigned in 41-A District Court before Magistrate Michael Osaer Wednesday on charges of possession of heroin less than 25 grams and stolen property less than $200.
He is being held on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. He’s due in court on Nov. 15 for a preliminary examination.
Anthony was charged with possession of stolen property. The clerk at 41-A District Court did not have arraignment information.
