Rain Delays Shelby Township's Trash Service

Trash services may run late due to heavy rains.

Republic Services/Allied Waste has extra crews assigned this week to pick up the trash, but because of the rainfall, the company said the crews are experiencing higher volumes of trash placed out for collection.

The company said crews are working diligently to ensure that customers are being serviced on their normal collection day. If your trash collection falls on Monday, it will not be picked up because of the holiday. 

Republic Services said it appreciates residents' understanding and patience while they work to provide the best collection service possible.
