Beer Bottle Shatters Rear Window of Car
A beer bottle was hurled into the windshield of a parked car on Totten Street last Friday in Shelby Township.
The owner of the vehicle told police that between 1-2:30 a.m. a 40-ounce Labatt’s Blue glass bottle was thrown through the rear windshield, shattering both glasses.

The bottle landed inside of the vehicle, and because the bottle was broken, finger print evidence could not be retrieved.
The case was closed because of a lack of suspects.

Golf Clubs Stolen From Garage
A homeowner claims his golf clubs and bag were stolen from his garage on 25 Mile and Dequindre roads last Saturday.
The homeowner said the larceny must have happened between the time that he woke up early in the morning and opened his garage to let his dog out and 8:30 a.m. when he went to get his clubs because he was going golfing.
Neighbors did not see any witnesses. The case was closed.
Power Saws Stolen from Detached Garage
Police said two power saws were stolen from a garage on 21 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue.
The homeowner said the theft must have occurred between Feb. 2, 2011, and April 29. One saw was valued at $390 and the other was valued at $316.
Vehicle Damages Hydrant
A vehicle damaged a fire hydrant on 24 Mile and Shelby roads on April 28. A Department of Public Works employee told police that a Chevy light assembly was found near the hydrant. The case was closed due to lack of suspects.
