Summer Concerts Planned Throughout the Week in Shelby Township and Utica

Looking for events this week in Shelby Township and Utica? Here are some things to put on your calendar.

- There will be music and a movie under the stars Monday in Utica. The George Brothers Band take the state at 6:30 p.m. in Grant Park which will be followed by a showing of "Madagascar 3" at 8:15 p.m.
- The Shelby Township Library will hold a magic demonstration and hands-on workshop presented by Joel Tacey's Tiptop Entertainment at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
- The Cadillac Cowboys will play a free concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Township Municipal Grounds.
- Stony Creek Metropark will host a concert by 80's Inc at Eastwood Beach
at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Concertgoers to the retro rock tribute can bring picnic baskets, but no glass containers are allowed. Food will also be available at the concession area in the park. The event is free, but a vehicle entry permit required.
