Trump Coming To Detroit Area Next Week To Celebrate 100 Days In Office
It would be the president's first visit to Michigan since winning the November election.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI β President Donald Trump will hold a rally in Macomb County next week to mark his first 100 days in office, according to White House officials.
The rally will happen next Tuesday, April 29, though officials did not immediately release any other details about the time or venue.
"President Trump is excited to return to the great state of Michigan, where he will rally in Macomb County to celebrate his first 100 days in office," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

U.S. Rep. John James, who currently represents Michigan's 10th Congressional District, which includes parts of Macomb and Oakland counties, said, "Macomb County is honored to welcome President @realDonaldTrump back to MICHIGAN to celebrate the first 100 days of Americaβs New Golden Age."
"Together, we will Make Michigan Great Again," said James, who is running for the Republican nomination for governor next year.

Trump narrowly defeated Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris 49.7 percent to 48.3 percent to win Michigan in last November's election. Trump also won Michigan in 2016 en route to securing his first term in office, before losing the state to Democratic former President Joe Biden in 2020.
