UCS High School Makes Newsweek's Top Schools List
Utica Henry Ford II High School secured a spot on Newsweek's Best High Schools in America list.

A high school in Michigan’s second-largest school district, Utica Community Schools, made Newsweek’s yearly list of America’s 500 Best High Schools.
Utica Henry Ford II ranked No. 475 on the prestigious list.
Schools in Texas snagged the top two spots. No. 1 was School of Science and Engineering Magnet and No. 2 was School for the Talented and Gifted Magnet. Both are in Dallas.

The International Academy in Bloomfield Hills was ranked the best high school in Michigan coming in at No. 20.
The schools were ranked based on the following six criteria: graduation rates (25%), college matriculation rates (25%), AP tests taken per graduates (25%), average SAT/ACT scores (10%), average AP/IB/AICE scores (10%), and AP courses offered (5%).
