VIDEO: Warm Temps Bring Sun Seekers to Stony Creek's Beaches
The beaches of Stony Creek opened earlier this week, and sunbathers have been enjoying the season's first rays.
Since the beaches at opened on Memorial Day weekend with a bang, there has been a steady flow of sun seekers.
Stony Creek reported more than 9,000 vehicles on Memorial Day, with crowd estimates of more than 25,000.
Even though the crowds are not as heavy as the holiday weekend, beachgoers are trying to pack it all in because the forecast is calling for cooler days and more rain later this week.
