CVS Pharmacy Hit By Armed Robber: Police

St. Clair Shores Police said a suspect robbed the Harper Avenue pharmacy shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A CVS Pharmacy in the 31000 block of Harper Avenue was robbed Tuesday afternoon, according to St. Clair Shores Police. A suspect described as a black male in his mid 30s entered the store at about 12:50 p.m., flashed a silver handgun at a clerk and robbed the store, police stated in a news release.

St. Clair Shores Police didn’t disclose what was stolen or if there were any injuries as a result of the incident. The CVS sits near 13 Mile Road.

Police said the suspect fled on foot. He is further described as wearing a green hoodie and a green baseball cap with white lettering. Police said the man is approximately 5-feet 8-inches in height and has a mustache and goatee.

St. Clair Shores Police think the suspect may be involved in similar robberies at CVS Pharmacies in Wayne County, including Detroit and Lincoln Park, the Macomb Daily reported. Several nearby schools were placed on lockdown as a precaution, but since have been lifted, the newspaper reported.
