ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI - If you havenβt taken your child to an Easter egg hunt yet, relax, thereβs still time. A number of Macomb County communities have plans over the next few days. With warm temperatures throughout Easter weekend, it should be a good time to get an enjoy spring.

St. Clair Shores

- St. Clair Shores Easter egg hunt- Saturday, April 15 at Veterans Memorial Park, St. Clair Shores. This yearβs St. Clair Shores Easter egg hunt is moving to a new location β Veterans Memorial Park at 32400 Jefferson Ave. β to accommodate even more kids running to grab candy-filled eggs. The hunt will begin promptly at noon. The event is open to all and doesnβt cost anything. The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance, so parents are welcome to bring their cameras to capture the cute meet-and-greet.
- Egg hunt at St. Joan of Arc on Saturday, April 15. The event will take place at St. Joan of Arc Church and School, 22415 Overlake Street. A free Easter egg hunt for children ages 2-7 at 10 a.m. The hunt will take place near the athletic field. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos, and there will be crafts and refreshments following the hunt. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early, as the hunt begins promptly at 10 a.m.
Macomb Township
- Immanuel Lutheran Easter egg hunt - Saturday, April 15. Immanuel Lutheran Church and School will host a free Easter event open to the public 10 a.m. -noon. The event will feature an egg hunt, crafts, treats, face painting, a petting zoo and more. The church will also hold worship services at 6:30 p.m. April 15, and at 6:30 a.m., 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. April 16. Immanuel Lutheran is located at 47120 Romeo Plank, at the corner of 21 Mile Road and Romeo Plank. For more information, call the church at (586)-286-4231.

- Harrison Township Fire Department Easter egg hunt - Saturday, April 15 at LβAnse Creuse High School. After a two-year hiatus, the Firefighters Local 1737 is bringing back its free Easter egg hunt to the LβAnse Creuse High School football field on April 15. Events including childrenβs activities, crafts, and visits and photos with the Easter Bunny and Sparky the Fire Dog begin at 10 a.m. The Easter egg hunt begins promptly at 11 a.m. LβAnse Creuse High School is located at 38495 LβAnse Creuse St.

Rochester/Rochester Hills

- Easter Egg Hunt in the Pool Goldfish Swim School Rochester (550 South Street, Rochester, MI 48307, 248-596-1914). Join Goldfish Swim Schools for their Easter Egg Hunt in the pool. All ages welcome. Adult admission is free. Enjoy have crafts, games, snacks, photos with the Easter Bunny, an Easter Egg Hunt in the pool, and Open Swim . Pre-registration is recommended for this event. This is a popular event and spots do book up. Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 2p-4 p.m.
- Oak Arbor Church Free Easter Egg Hunt - Oak Arbor Church (495 Oak Arbor Circle West, Rochester, MI 48306). For kids ages 12 & under. Registration begins at 2p and the egg hunt will begin at 2:30p. The Easter Bunny, crafts and activities will be ongoing throughout the event.
- The Village of Rochester Hills is looking for some great photos to be shared on its Facebook page. Share with the community and βdinner is on usβ for three lucky families. Every year the Rochester Hills brings a free, unique opportunity to visit the Easter Bunny with your family and friends, but we rarely get to see the photos. You can post about your experience, your favorite thing that happened while you were visiting or simply upload your photo. If you post your photo on Rochester Hillsβ Facebook page, in the comments section of each event date, you will have the opportunity to win dinner for four Noodles and Company in the village. All photos and memoirs need to be posted by April 17, 2017 to be entered into the drawing.
Novi
- Paradise Park Easter Egg Hunt -Paradise Park (45799 Grand River, Novi, MI 48374, 248-735-1050). Thousands of eggs filled with candy, tokens, and surprises! Paradise Park even offers a lunch buffet after the egg hunt (for additional fee). Buffet is served from 11a-12:30p and includes apps, pizza, breadsticks, salad, and unlimited beverages. Royal Oak
- Detroit Zoo Bunnyville on Friday, April 14, 2017 and Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 9a-3pm. Detroit Zoo (8450 W. 10 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067, 248.541.5717). Detroit Zooβs annual Bunnyville celebration, featuring crafts, live entertainment, zookeeper talks and much more. Bunnyville activities will feature a golden egg hunt with more than 100 eggs hidden throughout the Zoo each day, the Jelly Bean Jamboree, whisker painting and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny (available for purchase).
- Royal Oak Easter Egg Hunt at Grant Park (598 E Irving Ave Royal Oak, Michigan 48067). FREE Event on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10a-noon. - Oakland Mall Easter Bunny Visits - Easter Bunny visits are FREE. Photo packages are available for purchase. Hours are 10a-8p Mon-Sat and Sundays from noon-6p.
- Easter Egg Hunt at the Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois, Troy, MI 48083, 248-524-3484) Children ages 2 and up should come wearing their swimsuit for this holiday hunt. Gather eggs in the pool, enjoy crafts, use the gym, take pictures with the Easter Bunny and more. For cost info, contact 248-524-3484. Registration required. Clarkston
- Letterboxing is an intriguing βtreasure huntβ style outdoor activity and a great way to get the family outdoors. Let us introduce you to the world of letterboxing and then try out your skill with a Letterboxing Egg Hunt from 10 a.m.-noonSaturday, April 15 at Wint Nature Center. Hunt for eggs with the clues that you are given and see if you can find your golden egg. Cost is $5/person. Southfield
- The Great Marshmallow Drop at Catalpa Oaks. Starts on Friday, April 14 at 10:00 AM and ends at 1 p.m. 27725 Greenfield Road, Southfield, MI 48076. 15,000 marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter. Children ages 12 and younger will collect one marshmallow and exchange it for a prize. This is a FREE event.
West Bloomfield
- Spring Fling Egg Hunt at Drake Sports Park (Younger Kids) onApril 13 at 6801 Drake Road. Time: 5:45, 6:30, 7:15 or 8 p.m Cost: $5/residents, $7/non-residents. Kids ages 1-7 can hunt for the eggs filled with toys and other goodies hidden throughout the park, visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, and enjoy a petting farm at this event. Tickets sell out quickly, so pre-registration is recommended. If there are extra tickets available, they will be sold for $10 at the door.
