Farmer's Market Returns To St. Clair Shores

The St. Clair Shores Farmer's Market will be held this Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — Organically grown fresh vegetables, apples, cider, raw honey and locally made jams are just a few of the items that will be sold this Sunday at the St. Clair Shores Farmer’s Market. The monthly Farmer’s Market, which is held at Blossom Health Park on Jefferson Avenue between Nine and Ten Mile roads, runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The market will take place rain or shine, according to organizers. A free shuttle services is provided from several locations, including: S&K Muffler, the Henry Ford Medical Center, West Marine, the vacant lot next to Baffin Brewery, and the vacant lot located at the southwest corner of 10 Mile and Jefferson Avenue.

Dozens of vendors from around the area show up each Sunday the Farmer’s Market is open. Besides all of the wonderful food, many other types of good will also be available. After Sunday, the Farmer's Market will have open dates of Aug. 27 and Sept. 24.

Home decor, jewelry, tattoo artists, t-shirts, homemade dog treats, fresh cut flowers, aprons and dish towels, and fairy garden accessories are just a few of the items. The St. Clair Shores Farmer’s Market is a non-profit whose goal is to “provide a quality market and entrepreneurial opportunity for growers and vendors, offering a variety of locally grown and handmade products while encouraging family oriented, community based, educational shopping experience through exposure and participation,” according to the group’s website.
