GoFundMe Set Up For 1-Year-Old Boy Who Died In Crash On I-94
It was his mother's second day at work when her tire blew out on I-94, according to the GoFundMe page.
ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — The family of a 1-year-old boy who died in a crash on I-94 is raising money for his funeral.
A donation page has been set up for Chase Allen, who was in the backseat when a car rear-ended him and his mom on I-94 Tuesday morning.
According to the page, Chase’s mother was on the way to her second day of work at Beaumont Hospital when a tire blew out on her car. She stopped the car on the interstate and was waiting for help when the van hit the car.

"Stephanie has several broken ribs, a possible broken spine and a Broken heart," they said about the mother.
Police said the driver of the van, a 37-year-old man, was taken into custody but he was released after authorities interviewed drivers and witnesses.

State police are still investigating this crash.
