Medication Reportedly Stolen From Iraq War Veteran

The following information is gathered from the St. Clair Shores Police Department. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

Medication stolen

A 35-year-old Eastpointe resident, who said he was injured by an IED during the war in Iraq, reported Feb. 1 that a 30-year-old man, with braided brown hair, full beard and mustache with a heavy build stole his prescription medication from a home in the 28500 block of Beste. The victim was at his girlfriend's house on Beste when the suspect, who was an acquaintance, came over to the house. After 15-20 minutes, the suspect reportedly asked to have his girlfriend into the house. He then grabbed the prescription bottles off the table and fled the house. The victim ran after the suspect, and held on to him as the car started to pull away. He was dragged for a short distance before he fell as the car gained speed.

Home damaged

Two residents in the 22800 block of Sunnyside reported Feb. 3 that someone entered their home damaged their home while they were sleeping. The damage included two holes in the front landing area, slashes and a dent in the living room wall along with energy drink sprayed on the wall.

Money stolen

A resident in the 33200 block of Harper reported Feb. 3 that his door was forced open and money was stolen.

Items stolen from car

A 56-year-old New Baltimore resident reported Feb. 3 that while bowling at Shore Lanes someone took items including DVDs, CDs, credit cards and sun glasses from his vehicle.
