Second CVS Pharmacy Robbery Ends With Arrest

A Greater Mack Avenue CVS was robbed of cash Wednesday. Police haven't confirmed if it was the same suspect.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI. — A day after a Harper Avenue CVS Pharmacy was robbed, a suspect matching the description attempted to rob a second St. Clair Shores CVS on Greater Mack Avenue on Wednesday. Only this time, police were able to catch up and arrest him.

A suspect described as a black male in his mid 30s with a mustache and a goatee, walked into the CVS in the 22000 block of Greater Mack at about 12:45 p.m., according to a St. Clair Shores news release. As in the Tuesday robbery, the suspect flashed a silver handgun at a clerk.

After taking an unspecified amount of cash, police say the man fled on foot. He was found a short time later and arrested without any problems with help from the Grosse Pointe Woods Public Safety Department and Harper Woods police dispatchers, the release stated.
