Shelter Cat Seeks Forever Home

Abandoned Cat Needs Indoor-Only Situation

Boomerang is an 8-year-old white tabby with orange markings looking for people to call his own. His previous owner left Boomerang and another cat with family after “two years of neglect and limited human interaction,” according to Happy Tails Animal Rescue in St. Clair Shores, which is sponsoring the cat’s adoption.

The shelter says that despite Boomerang’s rough times, he’s a very social cat that loves people. According to his listing with Happy Tails, Boomerang “is known to be sassy during changes, but he warms up with quickly with love and understanding.” The shelter says he’s neutered, has tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and was vaccinated early on.

The shelter says he can be yours for “a very small adoption fee.” For more information, call Happy Tails at (586) 296-8755 or visit Happy Tails online. Happy Tails is a no-kill shelter and nonprofit operated by volunteers in St. Clair Shores.
