Shores-Pointes Adventure Triathlon Returns to Land, Sea and Wheels

Athletes of all ages will kayak, run and bike this Saturday through St. Clair Shores and the Grosse Pointes for the third annual Shores-Pointes Adventure Triathlon.

The triathlon starts at 7 a.m. Saturday in Blossom Heath Park when athletes take to the water for 2.1 mile kayak race on Lake St. Clair before they trade their boats for a bike and an 11-mile ride down Lakeshore Drive in Grosse Pointe Shores and Grosse Pointe Farms. The event finishes up with a 5k run down the Coast Guard access road, and the canal streets of Revere and Lange back to the park to the finish line in Blossom Heath.
