St. Clair Shores Teen Accused of Shoplifting at Macy's
Troy police arrested the St. Clair Shores teen for attempting to swipe $60 of merchandise at Macy's.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A St. Clair Shores teen was busted for shoplifting at the Somerset Collection at 2750 W. Big Beaver Rd. in Troy, according to a press release.
Troy police say that on Jan. 3 at approximately 11:30 a.m., the 17-year-old and a 13-year-old from Center Line attempted to swipe $60 and $85 of merchandise from Macy's before being stopped by Loss Prevention.
Troy police were dispatched to the scene and issued the 17-year-old a misdemeanor citation for Retail Fraud – 3rd Degree before releasing him. The 13-year-old was charged with Retail Fraud – 3rd Degree and released into the custody of his mother, who signed the Oakland County Juvenile Petition Form agreeing to bring him to juvenile court upon notice.
