Statement from U.S. Rep. Sander Levin Following the State of Union Address

Sander Levin, D-Royal Oak, released the following statement after President Obama’s State of the Union address:
 
”The President extended his hand to Republicans in Congress and called on us to ‘just do it’ in partnership and with urgency. He laid out a clear and decisive path on jobs and manufacturing, balanced deficit reduction and key new initiatives that Congress must now tackle, including immigration reform and gun violence. I am optimistic about the possibility for progress after his clarion call for action and his inspiring description of the role of each of us citizens in his conclusion.”
