Sunny, Warm Weather Dominates Weekend Forecast
Great summer weather is forecasted this weekend, a perfect chance to get out and do something fun like the Woodward Dream Cruise.
METRO DETROIT, MI — If you’re planning on heading over to the Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend, you’ll be treated to not only the coolest cars, but some good old-fashioned summer weather. The National Weather Service predicts highs in the low to mid 80s with little to no chance of rain in the forecast.
After a high of 80 on Friday, temperatures will drop down to about 64 degrees overnight. The chance of rain stands at about 30 percent, according to the Weather Service. Here’s a closer look at the Metro Detroit weekend weather forecast:
Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. West northwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 66. West northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming south southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67.
