Trenton Woman Reports $1,500 in Jewelry Stolen

A 34-year-old woman reported several jewelry items valued at about $1,500 were stolen out of her house at about noon May 29 in the 1900 block of Marian.

The woman told police she returned from a five-day vacation to find the screen on her front window was removed and the window was open.

Upon inspection the woman realized two wooden jewelry boxes located in her upstairs bedroom and several other items throughout the house were missing.

The missing items were four yellow gold rings with several diamonds and other precious stones, a yellow gold necklace, two Nintendo DS games, a Nintendo DS game system, a portable DVD player and two power tools.

A neighbor told the woman she had seen two males leaving the residence while the woman was away, according to a report.
