Former Quicken Loans Executive Charged With Wife's Murder
Former Quicken Loans exec Noah Ian Ravenscroft has been charged with first degree premeditated murder in the death of his wife.

Updated. COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, MI — 36-year-old Noah Ian Ravenscroft, a former Quicken Loans executive suspected in the death of his 38-year-old wife, was arraigned via video this afternoon before Judge Robert Bondy of the 52-1 District Court in Novi according to a press release. Ravencroft was denied bond and is barred from contact with his children, according to the press release. Ravenscroft faces a preliminary exam Feb. 8 at 1:30 p.m. in front of Judge Travis Reeds.
Police were first summoned to Ravenscroft's home on Jan. 23 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies received a call regarding a domestic assault between a husband and a wife from the couple's 10-year-old child. The child reportedly indicated the father was getting a knife.
Deputies arriving at the scene in the 1700 block of Applebrook observed the husband inside the home and covered in blood, police said. The husband opened the door and let Deputies inside while making statements that his wife was deceased, police said.

Deputies found the victim in the living room. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The couple's three children - aged 4, 10 and 12 - were found unharmed on the second floor of the home, authorities said.
Deputies have found what they believe was the weapon used in the murder — a kitchen knife, police said.

There had been no previous calls to the police for domestic violence, according to the report. The homicide is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
