Chinese Automotive Firm To Open Troy Factory

Parts Maker Reveals Plans For North American HQ

Minghua USA Inc, a Chinese car parts maker, will open a new North American headquarters in Troy, according to the Daily Tribune. The automotive firm, a subsidiary of Jiangnon Mold Plastics Technology, announced plans to spend over $8.4 million creating its new Troy headquarters. The Michigan Economic Development Corp says that planned facility will bring 50 new jobs to Troy.

Minghua makes bumpers, automotive plastics and high-tech molds. The Troy HQ will focus on sales and R&D. Minghua chose Troy over cities in Ohio and South Carolina, receiving a $500,000 Michigan Business Development performance-based grant for the new facility.
