Ketamine, Cocaine And 2 Arctic Foxes Seized From Oakland Co. Home

Three people were arrested after over 130 grams of cocaine, ketamine and two arctic foxes were seized from an Oakland County home.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — More than 130 grams of cocaine, 118 grams of ketamine and two arctic foxes were seized from an Oakland County home and three people have been arrested after an investigation by an Oakland County drug enforcement team discovered an illegal underground rave club, authorities announced Monday.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said 35-year-old Steven Michael Robiadek of Clarkston, 36-year-old Thomas David Miller of Pontiac, and 28-year-old James Crawford Walker of Oxford, have each been arraigned before 52-1 District Court Magistrate Mike Bosnic on several drug manufacturing and delivery charges.

“With overdoses still on the rise especially with cocaine, I am proud of our Detectives from NET for bringing both their illegal drug dealing and illegal club to an end,” said Sheriff Michael J.Bouchard. “Drugs have no boundaries and these dealers surely had an impact on all communities throughout the county. Hopefully, their boundaries will soon be within the confines of a jail cell for their actions.”

The Oakland County Narcotic Enforcement Team (NET) officials said they had launched an investigation into a home in the 30 block of Dakota Street in Pontiac, which then led to an investigation into an illegal underground rave club that had been operating at 125 N. Saginaw.

On Thursday, detectives said they had obtained a search warrant for the Dakota Street location, where they found and seized 124.9 grams of cocaine, 118.9 grams of ketamine, 6.6 grams of cocaine found within a truck belonging to the homeowner, safes containing cocaine, ketamine, and money scales, processing materials including mixers and presses, cutting agents, packaging material, and $7,555.

While at the address, two arctic foxes were discovered being held in the backyard, officials said. They were turned over to Oakland County Animal Control, according to police.

Information found at the residence on Dakota led to discovering an illegal underground rave club
which had been operating on N. Saginaw Street, authorities said. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the address and, when they visited the address, discovered cocaine, in plain view, next to a music sound board.

Detectives said they discovered one gram of cocaine, a 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun in a guitar case, processing materials including acetone, sifters, packaging materials, and vials.

The lease found at the scene at 125 N. Saginaw was in the name of one of the people arrested at the Dakota Street address, police said.

The City of Pontiac had not issued a Certificate of Occupancy for 125 N. Saginaw due to failed
inspections, officials said. This business, known as the Uptown Music Club, does not have a business license to operate and hosted a rave party on Aug. 16, officials said.

Detectives have presented the case to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office and three people have been accused, officials said.
