Letter to the Editor: Supporting Dane Slater for Mayor

On Tuesday, May 7, 2013, Troy voters will have the opportunity and critical responsibility to vote in the mayoral election. They shall cast their vote, informed and prepared, to keep Mayor Dane Slater. Mayor Slater brought calm to the city of Troy. He has proven to be the perfect ambassador; unifying the council and providing a wealth of knowledge with nearly four decades of dedicated service to the city. With 35 years of Public Safety expertise, integrity and ethics, he is the model citizen and best candidate for mayor.

Mayor Slater is the only mayoral candidate with a proven record of non-partisan, collaborative, leadership experience. He continues to serve the community in a professional manner bringing pride and respect back to our wonderful city. It’s important to note Troy’s image goes beyond our regional boundaries.

Mayor Dane Slater has earned my trust and my vote. He’s doing a great job and deserves your most serious attention and vote.
