Man Runs Out On To-Go Order, Leaves Phony $100 Bill Behind: Troy Police
The hostess at Brio Tuscan Grille played detective while the order was cooking.

TROY, MI — A man entered Brio Tuscan Grille restaurant in the upscale Somerset Collection mall, (2801 W. Big Beaver Road) and placed a to-go order around 8:45 p.m. Monday, Troy police said.
That’s no crime. What he allegedly did next was.
He paid the $13.25 tab with a $100 bill and asked how long the order would take. Fifteen minutes, the hostess replied. The man said he would come back, but never returned.

Meanwhile, the hostess put her private eye skills to the test and checked to see if the hundred dollar bill was real. Verdict: It wasn’t.
The man is described as black, roughly 25-years-old, somewhere between 6 feet, 2 inches to 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. One other detail: He has short hair. Have you seen him?
