Mitt Romney to Attend Private Fundraiser Hosted by Gov. Rick Snyder in Troy
The Republican presidential candidate is expected to attend a fundraiser reportedly hosted by Snyder at the Troy Marriott hotel.
While Gov. Mitt Romney's Every Town Counts bus tour makes its way through Michigan Tuesday with stops in Frankenmuth, DeWitt and Holland, the Republican presidential candidate is also planning two more discreet stops at private fundraisers in Grand Rapids and Troy on Wednesday.
According to a flyer from the Romney Victory campaign posted on Stewart Media's website, the private fundraiser in Troy begins at 5 p.m. at the and will be hosted by Gov. Rick Snyder. Those who have contributed or raised $50,000 or more for the Romney campaign will be able to attend a reception with Romney from 5-5:20 p.m.
At 5:20 p.m., those who have contributed or raised $10,000-$25,000 will be able to have their photograph taken with Romney. A general reception follows at 5:30 p.m. for those who have raised $2,500 per person or $5,000 per couple. Individuals who have contributed $50,000 or raised $100,000 will have an opportunity to have a private dinner with the Massachusetts governor.

Romney was last in Troy on Feb. 25, when he . During the rally, Romney played to the home crowd, saying, "It's good to be back in the place we called home for the first 19 years of my life."
Calls to the Romney campaign headquarters in Lansing were not returned to Troy Patch Monday or Tuesday, and calls to Gov. Snyder's office were not immediately returned Tuesday.
