Oakland County Crime Blotter: Woman Hit By Truck, Police Say
Deputies believe a woman was intentionally hit by a man in a pickup truck Tuesday night.
OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — The following information was provided by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office regarding incidents that they said took place between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Pontiac, Assault with a Motor Vehicle
A 39-year-old Pontiac woman is in critical condition after Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies said she was intentionally hit by the driver of a pick-up truck Tuesday night.

Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies said they responded to the 500 block of W. Huron. around 9:44 p.m. Tuesday and found a victim who had significant trauma to her head and to her extremities. Star EMS and Waterford Regional Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported the victim to McLaren Oakland Hospital, deputies said.
The victim’s boyfriend was on scene and said that he had witnessed the incident, deputies said. The victim had called the boyfriend saying that she was having trouble with a man at a gas station, deputies said. The victim asked him to come to the scene, deputies said.

The witness walked to the scene and saw his girlfriend standing in the alley with an unknown male in a pick-up truck behind her, deputies said. The truck accelerated rapidly and appeared to intentionally to strike the victim, deputies said. The truck drove westbound on West Huron away from the scene, deputies said. It was described as a full-size extended cab pick-up truck, deputies said.
A surveillance camera was located, which showed the suspect pick-up fleeing the scene, deputies said. However, it did not show the collision and it is of poor quality, deputies said.
The suspect was described by deputies as either a white or a Hispanic man. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. There is a $1,000 cash reward and you will remain anonymous.
Commerce Township, Breaking and Entering
Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies said they responded to Walled Lake Central High School following a commercial burglary alarm around 1:17 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies said they arrived and found four men on the school property.
The man had broken into the school through a roof hatch that had not been completely secured, deputies said. The men were in possession of a fire extinguisher that they had taken from the school, deputies said. One of the men had injured his leg when he jumped off from the roof of the school, according to deputies.
The Commerce Township Fire Department responded to the scene for the injured man, deputies said. He was transported to Providence Park Hospital for treatment, according to deputies. The man's vehicle was impounded, while the other men were released and pending further investigation, deputies said.
