Police: Woman Stabs Self, Assaults Ex-Boyfriend with Baseball Bat
The 24-year-old Rochester Hills woman was reportedly waiting outside her ex-boyfriend's apartment when he left for work Friday.

A 24-year-old Rochester Hills woman has been charged with felonious assault and domestic violence after she reportedly assaulted her 26-year-old ex-boyfriend with a baseball bat before stabbing herself in the abdomen, according to a media release from the .
Troy officers responded to the 1000 block of Dorchester just before 7 a.m. Friday after the victim, a 26-year-old Troy man, called 911 to report that his ex-girlfriend had hit him in the head with a baseball bat as he was leaving for work.
"His ex-girlfriend, who apparently had been lying in wait for him, struck him in the head with a baseball bat and then sprayed him with mace," the report read.

She then stabbed herself, the report stated.
The man was able to restrain her and call 911. The woman was transported to an area hospital with a self-inflicted stab wound to the abdomen. Neither the victim's nor the woman's injuries are life threatening.

When interviewed by Troy Police, the woman confirmed the victim's story, police say.
