Senior Brigade Forum

At 3:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2013, Royal Oak, Clawson & Troy area Oakland County Commissioner Mike Bosnic will host the Michigan Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division’s Senior Brigade for a presentation (one hour) on Home Repair & Equity Scams.  The program is free of charge and will be held at the South Oakland County Office Building, 1151 Crooks Road, Room 35 – “C” entrance (just north of Elmwood Drive – one block away from Royal Oak & Clawson), Troy, Michigan.

The Senior Brigade is a Michigan seniors initiative designed to educate seniors and their families on the scams & frauds that often are directed at seniors.  The home repair & equity scams presentation reviews how to recognize potential repair scams, how to work with a contractor, how to understand reverse mortgages, and tips to recognize and avoid foreclosure scams.
