Senior Brigade Forum

At 3:15 PM on Sunday, September 29, 2013, Troy area Oakland County Commissioners Mike Bosnic, & Gary McGillivray will host the Michigan Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division’s Senior Brigade for a one hour presentation on phone & mail scams.  The program is free of charge to the public and will be held at the Troy Public Library, Main Meeting Room, located at 510 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, Michigan.

The Senior Brigade is a Michigan seniors initiative designed to educate seniors and their families on the scams & frauds that often are directed at seniors.  The phone & mail scams presentation reviews common scams initiated over the phone or through mail/email, provides tips on how to reduce incoming phone calls and junk mail, and provides instructions on reporting a problem or scam.
