Teen Girls Fight at Oakland Mall; Players' Items Stolen During Hockey Game

Troy Police officers responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot of Saturday evening. When they arrived, they found two teenage girls with minor injuries, according to a media release from the department.
The girls told officers they had "exchanged angry words" inside the mall with two older women they did not know, then went outside to fight; the other women had left the scene before police arrived.
Noise complaint turns violent
Troy Police officers responded to the 2000 block of Charter Saturday afternoon for an assault report. One neighbor had confronted the other about excess noise, according to the report, and "an assault ensued."

Both parties received minor injuries, and one man was transported to the hospital; the Troy City Attorney's Office is reviewing the incident for possible charges.
Small dog loses sweater
A woman walking her small dog at when two large German shepherds ran up to her and attempted to "get to" her Yorkshire terrier, according to a media release from Troy Police.

The two large dogs "bit her dog's sweater off" before their owner called them back. The woman and her dog were not harmed, and the matter has been transferred to Oakland County Animal Control.
Items stolen at Troy Sports Center
Eleven members of a high school hockey team reported cash and electronics stolen from their belongings during a game Saturday evening at the . The door to the locker room was locked, though access could be gained via a shared bathroom, which could not be locked.
