Thunderstorms, Minor Flooding Possible as Rain Persists
Rain today could cause slippery conditions and minor flooding.

The rain this morning is expected to continue through Wednesday and into Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.
Thunderstorms are possible after 3 p.m. today with rainfall totals between a quarter and half inch expected. An inch or more of rain could fall locally today, said the weather service, which could lead to minor flooding and increased stream flows.
The high today will be around 46 with the temperature rising to around 50 tonight; wind gusts could reach nearly 30 m.p.h. The rain is expected to continue tonight with another quarter to half inch falling overnight.

Temperatures will fall to around 38 degrees by Thursday afternoon; wind gusts will continue, and there is a 40 percent chance of rain or snow throughout the day.
