Troy Firefighter Participates in State House Ceremony Memorializing 9/11

State Rep. Martin Howrylak was joined today at the Capitol by Ryan Wolf, Troy's Firefighter of the Year, as part of the annual House 9/11 anniversary ceremony.

The ceremony observed the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11 as well as honored the eight military and first responders who lost their lives in the line of duty this year in Michigan.

"September 11 is a day that changed our country's history forever, and it will not soon be forgotten," said Howrylak, "I am grateful to be a part of this day to remember those who lost their lives on that fateful day, and to recognize those who continue to put their lives on the line for us every day and I am honored to have Mr. Wolf join me today."
