Troy House Fire Causes $50K In Damage
Officials reported extensive damage, but no injuries in the weekend blaze.
TROY, MI — A fire in a Troy home caused more than $50,000 in damages over the weekend, according to reports. Thankfully, no one was injured.
The fire ripped through the house in the 4000 block of Bristol Drive around 2:50 p.m. and when firefighters arrived, they found that everyone had escaped the home, WDIV reported.
Crews extinguished the flames on the second floor and stopped it from spreading too far.

Firefighters believe the fire started in the same area as the fireplace or chimney, but the official cause is still under investigation.
