Troy Police Help to Nab Home Invasion Suspect
Lucious Brinson, 27, faces multiple felony counts stemming from an incident reported Friday, police said.

A man suspected in at least one recent home invasion will face a preliminary hearing on multiple felony charges in 48th District Court next week.
Lucious Brinson, 27, is charged with home invasion, possession of burglary tools and possession of marijuana, stemming from his April 19 arrest outside a home near downtown Birmingham. He was released Monday after posting a $25,000 cash bond and is expected back in court next week, record show.
Undercover officers with the Troy Police Department had Brinson under surveillance, and upon seeing him attempt to break into the 1100 block of North Old Woodward, contacted Birmingham Police. A news release stated that Brinson tried to flee, but was boxed in by patrol vehicles that converged on the scene.
