Troy Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Chipotle

The Troy Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place around 8:40 p.m. Monday at the Chipotle on Crooks.

TROY, MI — The Troy Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place around 8:40 p.m. Monday at the Chipotle on Crooks.

Two masked suspects, one armed with a handgun, approached an employee taking the trash out behind the restaurant before escorting the employee inside the building and demanding money, police said.

No one was injured during the incident, according to police. The restaurant closed at 8 p.m. and no customers were inside, police said.

The suspects are described as two men between 20 and 30 years old.

One of the suspects was described by police as 6-feet-tall or 6-foot-4-inches tall, about 180-200 pounds and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a red ski mask.

The second suspect is described as about 6-foot-1 or 6-foot-2 inches tall, approximately 160-180 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black and white mask or bandana, black gloves, black pants and carrying a black Wayne State University drawstring backpack.
