Troy Woman Dies After Suffering Cardiac Arrest at Gym

Rescue officials responded to call at Rochester Hills gym.

A 51-year-old Troy woman suffering from cardiac arrest died Sunday after she was transported to in Troy on Sunday morning, confirmed Beaumont spokesperson Angela Blazevski.

Rochester Hills Fire Chief Ron Crowell and Captain Michael Johnson of the Oakland County Sheriff's Office in Rochester Hills also confirmed that members of both departments responded on Sunday morning to a call about a person in cardiac arrest at a gym on Auburn Road, whom they then transported to Beaumont Hospital in Troy.

The woman's name was not released due to privacy concerns.
